Following the death of Lord Sodemogi, the Shikoku Yokai intend to eliminate Rikuo. However, the bloodthirsty Inugami grows impatient with their plans and decides to pursue Rikuo independently. This rogue action disrupts the coordinated effort of the group, as Inugami acts alone to target Rikuo without waiting for the collective agreement of the other Yokai involved in the scheme.
