An annual event in March, NHK's Heat Exhibition invites people with disabilities to submit poetry for a chance to have their work paired with artwork from a celebrity. Each year, fifty participants are chosen. A poem by Megumi Ichimura, who has a mental disability, was adapted into a song with music composed by Ikuko Kawai, a classically trained Japanese violinist. Emiko Shiratori provided vocal accompaniment, and the resulting piece, titled *Obaachan Moshikashite*, was broadcast on the *Minna no Uta* program in April 2005. The music video combines live footage with animation created by Seiichi Hayashi.
