Kanade Amakusa suffers from Absolute Multiple-Choice, a condition forcing him to choose between options or endure pain. This curse led to his inclusion in the Reject Five, alongside Furano Yukihira, who displays a monotone expression and odd humor, and Ōka Yūōji, the energetic daughter of the UOG chairman. After enduring a day of humiliating decisions, Kanade is presented with a choice between a beautiful girl falling from the sky or another embarrassing option. He selects the former, resulting in a girl named Chocolat descending from above.
