She takes him to a former hiding spot to reminisce, then confesses her love again, admitting she previously rejected him out of revenge. Maru appreciates this honesty but hesitates to respond because of his lingering feelings for Kachi and Momosaka. Shida notices his dilemma and suggests they become "childhood girlfriends," promising closeness while keeping options open. Later, Abe visits Kai, who reveals the girls' schemes and Shida's plan, leading Abe to conclude Kai won. Meanwhile, Maru feels shy about a new school fan club, while the girls plan to prevent interference.
