Shinichi Kanou, a reclusive otaku, completes an online examination that offers him employment. Upon passing the test, he meets his new employer. Shortly after this meeting, he is drugged and transported to the Eldant Empire in a different realm. His assigned mission is to introduce and spread otaku culture to the local inhabitants of this new world. The narrative follows his transition from a secluded lifestyle to an active role in cultural dissemination within this foreign setting.
