Oscar informs Oz that his father has been missing for ten years. Break and Sharon discuss Oz’s unique ability to control the Abyss and rumors regarding his connection to Jack, prompting concerns about the Baskerville family’s motives. Upon returning home, Oscar reveals that Oz’s father signed a contract with the Chain Griffin before vanishing. Disturbed by his identity, Oz isolates himself until Alice and Gil reassure him of their shared goal to discover who they are. The group travels to Sabrie to locate the Baskervilles and Griffin. During a confrontation where the team nearly falls into the Abyss, Oz independently activates B. Rabbit’s powers to defeat the Chain. Oz declares his resolve to remain true to himself, while his father secretly asserts that Oz must not exist. The episode concludes with a pocketwatch placed on a grave.
