In 234, Zhuge Liang Kongming dies during the Three Kingdoms period, wishing for rebirth in a peaceful era. He awakens as a younger man in modern Shibuya, where he is moved by singer Eiko Tsukimi’s performance. Eiko finds him unconscious and takes him in, teaching him about contemporary Japan. Kongming believes his revival is purposeful and secures a bartending job at the BB Lounge through Eiko’s boss, a Three Kingdoms fan. Eiko confesses that singing once saved her from suicide, but repeated audition failures make her consider quitting. Recognizing her struggle, Kongming offers his strategic expertise to help her achieve her dream of becoming an inspiring vocalist, marking the start of their partnership in this new life.
