Futaba follows them inside, where she encounters a giant monster taking the form of her mother. This creature harbors a deep grudge against Futaba. The confrontation occurs within the Palace as the thieves attempt their heist, with Futaba directly facing the manifestation of her mother's negative emotions. The group's initial persuasion allows Futaba to enter the cognitive world willingly, leading to this pivotal encounter with the monstrous entity representing her mother's resentment.
