Ep. 1: Wind Sounds Obstruct View as New Table Tennis Players Emerge at Hatase High

During spring, Hatase High school gymnasium hosts the table tennis club. Adviser Koizumi Jo spots a new team member, Tsukimoto Makoto, who wears glasses and smiles. He is one of the up-and-comers who joined the team this year. Simultaneously, another new player, Hoshino Yutaka, is swindling a man at Obaba's Tamura Table Tennis Hall. Yutaka is also identified as an up-and-comer on the team. The scene establishes the presence of these two new recruits within the club environment. Koizumi observes the cut-man with glasses, while Yutaka engages in deceptive behavior elsewhere. These events introduce the characters and their current situations at the start of the season.
