Inspired by watching skaters at the local rink, Pingu and Pinga decide to take up figure skating themselves. As they practice, the crowd begins to cheer them on, encouraging their efforts. The siblings then decide to take their ice show out of the rink and into the city. Once there, the local residents join in the performance, turning their practice into a larger community event.
