Mirai and Saki depart Jinbo Stadium burdened by feelings of helplessness and inability to act. They struggle to comprehend how they could possibly challenge the overwhelmingly powerful strategist Metropoliman on their own. While reflecting on this disparity in strength, they are approached by a new God candidate named Nanato Mukaido. Mukaido informs them that Metropoliman must not ascend to become the next God. He proposes that Mirai and Saki join forces with him to confront and stop Metropoliman.
