Satoshi and Dande engage in a continuing battle where Satoshi’s Mega Lucario defeats Barrikohru. Dande’s tactics begin to challenge Satoshi as the fight progresses. However, Mega Lucario is defeated by Drapult. Kairyu then avenges its teammate by using Draco Meteor to knock out Drapult, giving the young trainer a 3–2 lead. Following this victory, Dande introduces his Gorilander into the battle to continue the confrontation against Satoshi.
