Team Rocket attempts to steal a Mareep flock by disguising themselves as sheep to deceive the owner. Ash and his friends arrive to assist the herder, but they face a challenge beyond the villains. They must first convince the Mareep trainer to believe in her own abilities and have faith in herself before they can effectively help her protect her animals from the deceptive thieves.
