A large piece of ice descends from the sky, prompting Ash and his companions to investigate the object. They discover that a Sunkern is trapped inside the frozen block. Seeking assistance, they approach Marcello and Sophia, an elderly couple who eagerly help the group in the process of thawing the Pokémon. Once the Sunkern is freed, Ash utilizes a Sun Stone obtained from the Bug Catching Contest to trigger its evolution. The Sunkern transforms into a Sunflora, and subsequently, all other Sunflora return to the mountain. This sequence highlights the rescue and development of the creature with the aid of local residents.
