Korrina successfully locates the Lucarionite, but upon activation, she is unable to maintain control over the resulting Mega Lucario. The Pokémon proves to be far too powerful for Pikachu to defeat in battle. Consequently, Korrina's grandfather Gurkinn steps in to handle the situation. He utilizes his own Mega Lucario to address the threat posed by the uncontrollable creature. This intervention is necessary to resolve the conflict caused by the overwhelming strength of the Mega Evolution.
