Mia and Hye In prepare for the final battle to decide the center, with teammates suggesting separate practice. Kei reveals to Kyoko that Jun is not really her brother. The rivals struggle to balance their friendship and rivalry. During their performance, they are transported back to their childhood secret tree, where they dig up a time capsule. Inside, they find a drawing by Mia of Hye In as the best prism star and a letter from Hye In asking if Mia has achieved that title. This discovery helps them realize their friendship is most important. Both girls complete their performance, and the audience is unable to choose between them, applauding both equally.
