During Halloween in Pripara, the Thieving Genius steals the second Princess Coord, disrupting the festivities. Laala encounters Ran, an old friend, and initially mistakes her for a ghost. Meganii announces a contest to crown Miss Halloween based on who scares the most people. Ran dances joyfully before vanishing, causing panic among the crowd who believe she is a spirit. The situation resolves when it is revealed that Ran had simply fallen into a giant pumpkin, ending the misunderstanding.
