Garu gives Pucca a bell to track her, but Tobe exploits this by ringing bells to trap Garu. Pucca saves Garu from a boulder and attacks Tobe. Later, Mushi claims the forest, prompting Garu to challenge him to a lumberjack contest for maple syrup. Mushi cheats, but Pucca ensures his defeat. In another incident, a famous martial artist visits Sooga Village. Garu seeks an autograph, but Tobe steals his ticket. Pucca defeats the martial artist in tests to earn the signature, though he initially refuses. After Tobe falls from the ceiling, the martial artist agrees to sign. When Tobe steals the autographed book, Pucca beats him up and sends him flying.
