Ranma Saotome, his father Genma, and Soun Tendo accept a job to remove a disturbing octopus-shaped pot from a coastal vacation spot. The creature has been causing significant distress and fear among the holidaymakers staying there. The trio arrives to handle the situation, expecting to deal with a supernatural nuisance. However, they soon discover that the menacing object is actually the perverted martial artist Happosai hiding inside the container. This revelation complicates their mission as they must deal with the unexpected identity of the threat rather than a simple monster.
