Principal Kuno places Tatewaki Kuno in charge of maintaining school discipline. Happosai offers to train Kuno, but his true intention is to use him to expand his collection of underwear. Despite this ulterior motive, Kuno's combat skills improve significantly during the training. As a result of his enhanced abilities, Kuno issues a challenge to Ranma Saotome, setting the stage for a confrontation between the two characters.
