The Red Whirlwind arrives, but the Doctor has replaced Juliet. A stray arrow strikes him, yet he chooses to die saving men captured by guards. Meanwhile, nobles debate city peace. One noble defends the people and loses his rank. This noble is Benvolio's father, and they travel to the city's outskirts. On the way, Archduke's guards attack them. The narrative questions whether Benvolio will survive to recount these events to Romeo.
