Chiyuki praises Ikuto to friends before the preliminaries, where Jun Miyamoto, Takaoka, Toh, and two others judge. Ikuto presents unconventional pajamas; Toh critiques the design as lame but acknowledges improved stitchwork. Remembering Chiyuki’s support, Ikuto submits the unedited work. Takaoka explains the test was self-belief, and Ikuto’s design joins Kaoru Kizaki’s in the top three advancing to finals. Toh reveals the third-place reasoning and offers Ikuto a job, which he accepts. Meanwhile, Chiyuki faces magazine rejections until Yanagida’s show inspires editor Fumiyo Niimura. Niimura is replaced by Akasaka, who hires Chiyuki only after a model drops out. During the shoot, Chiyuki meets Kokoro and feels envious of her height and beauty.
