The sword forces Geo to retreat, enabling Dark Phantom to investigate the pyramid in solitude. Rogue arrives and knocks Mega Man unconscious. Inside Geo's mind, he sees the sword stuck in the ground. Reminiscent of The Sword in the Stone, Geo pulls it out, wakes up, and assumes the Thunder Zerker form to defeat Rogue. Concurrently, Dark Phantom discovers that the pyramid contains no treasure.
