Sabu to Ichi Torimono Hikae

A young investigator from the Edo bakufu, Sabu, journeys with Ichi, a blind master swordsman. Together, they travel and help ordinary people resolve mysteries and address injustices, often caused by bandits or dishonest authorities. Sabu is engaged to Midori, the daughter of his superior, who serves as a police officer under the Tokugawa shogunate.
