Ep. 10: Arthur Defies the King to Protect Sylvie from the Royal Conjurer

A royal conjurer encounters Sylvie in an empty auction house corridor and attempts to lure the creature toward him. Arthur arrives just in time to reclaim his bond, but the conjurer insists that surrendering Sylvie is best for the kingdom. When Arthur refuses to give up his partner, the conjurer threatens his family. Enraged, Arthur unleashes a wave of bloodlust that shakes the entire building. Later, the conjurer pressures the king to compel Arthur to hand over Sylvie. As the king repeatedly demands the creature and questions Arthur’s repeated refusals, Arthur challenges the monarch by asking what price he would accept for one of his own children.
