Saint Seiya: THE LOST CANVAS - Meiou Shinwa

A conflict rooted in ancient mythology spans 200 years, involving the ongoing struggle between Athena and Hades to protect the earth. Set in 18th century Europe, 243 years before the events of the original "Saint Seiya," the story follows three childhood friends: Tenma, Alone, and Sasha. Tenma, who is bold yet principled, travels to Sanctuary to become a saint and reunites with Sasha, Alone’s sister, who is revealed to be the reincarnation of Athena. Alone, a gentle and artistic boy, is selected as the vessel for King Hades. As Tenma becomes the Pegasus saint, he is forced into battle against Alone, now the King of Hades. The intertwined fates of Pegasus Tenma, King Hades, and Goddess Athena set the stage for the original Saint Seiya.
