Sanzo, Gojyo, and Hakkai begin suffering from altitude sickness while traveling further west. During their journey, they are attacked by demons. A man named Hassan saves them from the assault. He then takes the group back to his hideout. Upon arrival, they meet someone rather unexpected. This encounter occurs after Hassan rescues the trio from the demon attack during their westward trek. The situation shifts from physical distress to a surprising reunion or meeting at the safe location provided by their rescuer.
