Sakasama no Patema: Beginning of the Day

A short online release serves as the prologue to a larger story, focusing on the first day of events. In a dim, confined underground world filled with tunnels and shafts, inhabitants wear protective gear and live simple, content lives. Patema, a young girl from this subterranean society, regularly explores out of curiosity, especially drawn to the restricted "danger zone." Her caretaker, Jii, often warns her against it, but Patema remains determined to uncover the reason behind the community's rule, as no one explains what the danger truly is. Her journey toward the forbidden secret marks the beginning of the narrative.
