Touma Inaba, a student preparing for entrance exams at Keio University, is staying at a hotel when a young girl named Urara Kasuga unexpectedly appears at his door. She is later revealed to be his cousin, whom he barely recalls from childhood. Urara, who harbors feelings beyond familial affection, offers Touma a place to stay. Prior to the exam, Touma meets Meiko Yotsuba, an attractive and refined woman also applying to Keio. Meiko is accepted, but Touma is not, partly due to an illness Urara gave him. To gain Meiko's respect, he lies about being a Keio student. As he navigates a growing emotional connection with both women, Touma struggles to maintain the deception with Meiko while remaining supportive of Urara.
