Sanctuary

Two Japanese survivors of the Khmer Rouge killings in Cambodia seek to create a safe place for themselves, choosing divergent paths after returning to Japan. One enters politics, while the other joins the criminal underworld. As they navigate the intertwined realms of government and organized crime, both pursue their ambitions with unwavering determination, prioritizing their goals over all else.
