Santa Company: Manatsu no Merry Christmas

Mint and others from Santa Company arrive at a tropical island near the equator and encounter a massive accumulation of ocean debris. The situation highlights how repeated small acts of carelessness have led to a serious environmental issue. The group must deal with the consequences of this growing problem. The story presents an unusual and festive take on Christmas. This project is a spin-off of an original work by Kenji Itoso. A short animated version was released in 2014 following a crowdfunding campaign, and a full-length film was later shown in Japan in 2019.
