Hibiki dedicates increasing amounts of time to fighting Noise, which significantly reduces the time she can spend on her academic studies and interacting with her friends. Consequently, Miku experiences feelings of loneliness and isolation. To address this, she makes a specific promise with Hibiki to meet up and get snacks after school concludes. However, the planned meeting is disrupted when Hibiki receives another urgent call immediately after the school day ends, preventing them from keeping their agreement.
