The characters choose to visit the beach for the purpose of training. During their time there, they enjoy themselves until the Autoscorers launch an attack. Maria is compelled to engage in combat against these enemies. She fights them even though she is in a weakened state. The incident interrupts their leisure activity and forces her to defend herself under difficult physical circumstances.
