Yumi and her team enter Gessen Middle School after discovering that Gekkou and Senkou are students there. They confront the pair, who claim they plan to follow the teachings of Yumi's grandfather, Kurokage. Meanwhile, Asuka sneaks into the location the night before the event. The Shinobi Masters tournament then begins, marking the start of the competition involving these characters.
