Lady Sati restores Joco to life, causing his abilities to grow strong enough to match the golem. Anna intervenes in the conflict and takes possession of the golem. Following these events, Yoh discovers that Joco has gone blind. Joco explains that this loss of sight was not an act of redemption, but rather a necessary step to help him better understand children.
