Kyo Kasuga, now 19, ignores a cryptic phone warning about an approaching vehicle and is struck by a car. Due to his telepathic powers, the accident sends him three years into the future. There, he discovers his 22-year-old self is a missing photographer presumed dead in Bosnia. Kyo must locate his future self and return to his original time. During his journey, he reconnects with Hikaru, who has become a successful professional dancer. Madoka is also present, worried about both versions of Kyo—one missing in Bosnia and the other injured in the car accident.
