Ristarte, a novice Goddess of Healing, summons Seiya Ryūgūin to save Gaeabrande from a Demon Lord. Although Seiya possesses unusually high stats, Ristarte neglects to check his personality, discovering he is impossibly cautious. After consulting goddess Ariadoa, she allows him to train alone for a week. He reaches level 15 through basic exercises. Upon arriving in Gaeabrande, Seiya purchases multiple sets of armor. He defeats a basic slime outside town by burning the entire area with explosions to ensure no fragments survive. Immediately after, Chaos Machina, a level 66 demon and member of the Four Heavenly Kings, approaches them. She reveals she was sent to scout the area and eliminate Seiya before he becomes a threat.
