Shiroi Unabara

A mother hides a letter from her daughter by tossing it into a frozen ocean. The daughter, sensing something is wrong, secretly follows her mother onto a boat. She remains there, waiting for the ice to melt while carrying unspoken emotions. This is a 2015 graduate project by Satomi Maiya from the Department of Animation at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts.
