After his mother urges him to stop being lazy, a Panda looks for part-time work but struggles to find a role that suits his relaxed nature. He eventually discovers the Shirokuma Cafe, where a Polar Bear is interviewing candidates for a position alongside his regular customer, Penguin. Panda applies for the job but fails the interview, and the position is instead awarded to a human girl named Sasako. Despite this setback, the other characters guide Panda toward a part-time opportunity at a nearby zoo.
