Shoujo Kakumei Utena

After the death of her parents, Utena was comforted by a prince who gave her a ring bearing a rose crest. Inspired by this encounter, she aspired to become a prince herself. Years later, she attends Ohtori Academy, where she wears a boy’s uniform to emulate the prince. When her friend is insulted by a Student Council member, Utena challenges them to a duel to defend her honor. The rose crest grants her access to the dueling arena, where she wins and becomes engaged to the Rose Bride. Unintentionally, Utena is drawn into a sequence of duels with other Student Council members over the Rose Bride. As her bond with Anthy deepens, Utena fights to protect her while uncovering a disturbing truth about the academy.
