Ep. 11: Yakumo Meets Sukeroku on the Sanzu River During a Rakugo Performance

While listening to Yotaro’s rakugo on the porch with Konatsu, Yakumo finds himself lost on a scaffolding of candles. He encounters the Second Generation Sukeroku, who informs him that he has reached the Sanzu River. Sukeroku then guides Yakumo on a journey through the land of the dead. During this passage, they revisit their childhoods and young adulthoods, discussing Miyokichi and Konatsu while reflecting on their past lives. As they look back on their experiences, Miyokichi suddenly appears, marking a significant moment in Yakumo’s spiritual transit.
