Plasmagica receives an invitation to compete in a Battle of the Bands against Unicorn Virtual Music Inc.'s Cristicrista. Chuchu wonders why Cyan does not know the opposing group. The members concentrate on winning strategies, prompting Retoree to remember joining the band to find friends. Anxiety rises after hearing Criticrista's rehearsal, leading the group to doubt their chances. Cyan employs her music to calm their fears and suggests a revised song arrangement. Although they lose the match to Criticrista, the girls feel content with their debut performance. The shared experience strengthens their bond, leaving them closer than before despite the defeat.
