Dagger issues a challenge to Plasmagica to compete against Bud Virgin Logic in a battle of the bands, causing Rosia to worry. As the group prepares for the event, Cyan faces difficulties writing her new song and fears she cannot meet the expectations of her friends. Concurrently, Yaiba, Crow, and Aion discover that Rom and Shuzo previously performed together in a band named Amatelast. Feeling guilty about holding the others back due to her lack of progress, Cyan leaves home and visits Grateful King.
