Sky Girls OVA

A conflict in the near future pits Earth against an alien species known as Worms, resulting in a drastically reduced human population, particularly among young men. After being temporarily repelled, the Worms return, prompting the development of a mecha unit named Sonic Divers. Three young girls are chosen to pilot this unit in response to the renewed threat.
