Chris's father purchases a ring, which is actually a Chaos Emerald, from a jewelry store to give to Chris's mother for their wedding anniversary. On the anniversary day, while the mother is filming in the studio, the father calls Chris, Chuck, the leader of S-Team, and others to secretly organize a flashy surprise party. However, after noticing the purple Chaos Emerald, Eggman, along with Rouge and Topaz, arrive and cause mayhem.
