Following the conclusion of the conflict, the group takes time to process their recent experiences. With the Master Emerald failing to restore itself in the near future, Chris accepts that he cannot go back to Earth. However, his resignation is interrupted when he receives an envelope from Eggman. Inside the envelope is a single ticket explicitly labeled as a one-way trip to Earth, offering a potential means of departure despite the earlier hopelessness regarding the Emerald's condition.
