Hikari is obligated to accompany Kei on a Sunday date, fulfilling a promise made while he recovered from a fever. Their outing is abruptly halted by Sakura Ushikubo, identified as Kei's future fiancée, who removes Hikari from the situation and befriends her instead. Hikari agrees to assist Sakura in gathering information about Kei. Through this involvement, she starts experiencing inexplicable emotions toward him, complicating her initial obligations and feelings regarding the young man.
