Weeks before the Corpse elimination mission, Grete buys a meat pie for Lamplight while Klaus is on vacation. They find the baker harassed by the Mannheim food corporation president, who demands his recipe. Unable to cope, the baker plans to close, but Grete refuses to let this happen. Lamplight devises a scheme to sell a fake recipe and steal the president's money. The plan succeeds, though Lily uses knockout gas when the president draws a gun. Later, Grete returns to the bakery and is happy to see an apprentice has joined. Back at the mansion, Lily warns that the second team has not returned. Meanwhile, Monika holds Thea at gunpoint while Annette and Erna sleep, questioning her loyalty to Lamplight.
