Kojou and Yukina meet Dimitrie Vatler, a nobleman displaying unusual affection for the Fourth Progenitor, alongside Kirasaka Sayaka, an old friend of Yukina employed by the Lion King Organization. Vatler suggests that Kojou capture terrorists hiding on Itogami Island, but Yukina volunteers to handle the task herself. Consequently, Vatler challenges Yukina to prove her suitability for the mission. Although Sayaka has been Yukina's friend since childhood, her behavior begins to change during these events.
