A scientist named Dr. Jurgen created a global defense system to address possible alien invasions. The system includes the VTX-001 Vartoul, an unmanned anti-alien unit, and the ODE network, which manages these drones. The ODE system requires a human operator and relies on human organs to function. Recently, the drones have begun abducting people en masse. Kyosuke and his team have been dispatched to address the situation.
